As received by Adolf;

Melkbosstrand, February 17, 2015

Good Morning Adolf,

It really was a pleasure to meet you and Ellen personally and to share some lovely time with you. We would like to thank you and the Landcruiser Club Southern Africa very much for all your precious support and personal engagement, without which we would have been quite lost. We are very happy and confident that changing the axle housing now prevents such scary accidents like losing a wheel!

Yesterday we had an interview with the “Go” 4x4-magazine. Its publication is foreseen for May or June. In the meantime we also ordered four new shock absorbers "Old Man Emu" - the only one available for our FJ60. We can collect the tomorrow at R&D. Things slowly are working out for our LandCruiser!

Dear Adolf, once again a great THANK YOU to you, to all the supporting club members, especially Dr. Bennie Smit for donating the axle casing and Johann and Marnette Meyer for taking so good care of our LandCruiser and us!

We just added the LCCSA to our list of supporters.

With great appreciation and kind regards:
Emil & Liliana

They say on their website :
"Thank you very much "Land Cruiser Club of Southern Africa"! We are now on the lookout for a panel beater to
have flattened the damaged body part."

Anybody have contacts who can help ? On the picture we can see where the wheel hit the body when the sideshaft broke . Luckliy the car stayed upright and did not roll - that thing is very "top heavy".
One problem is that they live in that car and they do not leave its side .

Mountain Breeze Camping/Stellenbosch, February 24, 2015

A very big thank you to Auto Magic M5 (Cape Town). and Gordon in particular! This is the spirit of LCCSA, unmatched till today, IMHO.

Dear Gordon,

It was a huge surprise and pleasure to see the right rear fender of our LandCruiser FJ60, which was so badly damaged by losing twice a wheel, to be put in shape again at Auto Magic M5 (Cape Town). It was an incredible and very accurate job done by Hennie in only a couple of hours allowing us even not to separate from our “house on wheels”. When yesterday the blue paint was shining again - showing a perfect work - we were more than happy. It was just finished in time for Emil’s birthday today Tuesday. We consider it as his birthday present!

We would like to extend our greatest thanks to you for your precious contribution to keep us going, which we appreciate very much. We just added Auto Magic M5 (Cape Town) to our supporter list (direct access: http://www.weltrekordreise.ch/a_suppe.html).

With our kindest regards:

Liliana and Emil Schmid
